Closed for the Season by Mary Downing Hahn

Arthur and Logan tackle the derelict amusement park, The Magic Forest, hoping to solve a murder. The victim was the previous owner of Logan's new home! The park is supposedly closed for the season, so who is in there with them, and are they in danger?

  2. In “Closed for the Season”, Logan, who moved into the murder house where Myrtle Donaldson was killed, teams with the boy next door, Arthur Jenkins to find out who the killer is. The boys go to The Magic Forest to see if they can find any clues. Magic Forest is an (A real place) abandoned amusement park where Ms. Donaldson was head bookkeeper. They ride their bikes in the dead of night to find out who the killer was all along… This book is exciting, action packed, spooky, sinister, and one of the scariest books I’ve ever read. I would recommend this amazing book to anyone and everyone!

  3. The book I read was called Closed For The Season by Mary Downing Hahn. In the book Logan Forbes moved into a house where a woman named Mrs.
Donaldson was apparently murdered. He meets his neighbor Arthur Jenkins, and they soon become friends. Everyone thinks Mrs. Donaldson embezzled money from the amusement park she worked at. During the story Logan and Arthur look for the money and try to find out who killed Mrs. Donaldson. I highly recommend this book to readers everywhere.

  4. Mary Downing Hahn wrote Closed for the Season. Let’s just say this book is the best book I have ever read. This book is very interesting and this book is very
close to finding Ms. Donaldson’s killer. My favorite part of the book is when Logan and Arthur go to the old amusement park and see the news reporter and a friend taking pictures . I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

  5. I read Closed For the Season by Mary Downing Hahn. This great book is about a boy named Logan who moved in Mrs. Donaldson’s house. But there’s a little twist, Mrs. Donaldson was killed in her own house. Logan’s neighbor,Arthur, told him about the Magic Forest, an old amusement park has been closed for years. The Magic Forest is so important because Mrs. Donaldson used to work there for years until she died.
Logan and Arthur are trying to track down the killer. Or will the killer track them down first?

I recommend this book for people who like reading mystery books.

  6. I read Closed for the Season by Mary Downing Hahn. Thirteen-year-old Logan and his family move into an old rundown house. Logan didn’t know that the old owner Mrs. Donaldson was murdered in the house. Logan became great friends with his new neighbor Arthur. It’s a life-threatening quest to uncover the killer. I recommend you read this book.

  7. CLOSED FOR THE SEASON is about Logan Forbs who moves to Virginia and he meets Arthur Jankins. Arthur tells Logan about the murder in his house of Mrs. Donaldson which is a mystery. Later in the book they look for evidence in the town library, and they work together as a team to solve the mystery. I would recommend this book to someone who likes long lasting chapters about the mystery. I liked this because of who the murderer was.
